Chicago School of Woodworking - Wk 1

It took quite a while, but I've found an incredible wood shop here in the north-Chicago neighborhood of Ravenswood to really get muh learn ohn. What the Chicago School of Woodworking website makes up for in panache it more than makes up for in respect for the craft of woodworking. $430 for 10 weeks of classes and at the end I'll have a vastly deeper understanding of my new obsession. 

In the first-of-ten weeks here at CSW we brought our lumber in and marked and measure everything. I'll be making a side table out of white oak with cherry legs. I'm not sure how many photos I'll be able to snag as putting your appendages in danger in the name of social media broadcasting seems to be lost on my instructors, but I'll do ​my best.
